We're looking for an Operations Support -Production Engineer to join our team and provide critical engineering support across our Sydney and Wagga Wagga Operations Centers.
This is a hands-on role that ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a diverse range of chemical and gas production facilities.What You Will Enjoy DoingLead and support engineering activities across multiple production facilitiesConduct HAZOPs, risk assessments, and ensure regulatory complianceManage end-to-end project delivery including design, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and EMOC processesPrepare and manage CapEx proposals and budgetsInvestigate incidents and support audits (TGA, ISO, SafeWork NSW)Provide troubleshooting and reliability support to maintenance teamsPerform monthly gas-loss reporting and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to meet safety, compliance, and productivity goalsWhat Makes You GreatA bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical / Process EngineeringMinimum of 3- 5 years' experience in the gas or related industryExperience in hazardous plant operations or MHF facilities is highly regardedKnowledge of Process Hazard Analysis and Australian StandardsFamiliarity with NSW WHS Act **** and WHS Regulation ****Cross-disciplinary knowledge (e.g., PLCs, electrical systems) is a plusWhy you will love working with usAt Linde we identify ourselves with our products – either working for the technical or medical gases business.

In this dynamic position,



you'll be involved in supporting and improving operations across multiple production areas, including Dissolved acetylene and nitrous oxide production, Helium trans-fill and special gases plants, Dry ice and air gases cylinder filling, CO2, N2O, SO2, and NH3 cylinder and drum filling and Acetone recovery plant You'll lead HAZOPs and risk assessments, manage engineering projects from concept to completion, and ensure compliance with NSW Major Hazard Facility (MHF) regulations and internal safety standards.What we offer you!
