We are seeking a full-time Nursing Support Worker to join their dedicated care team.

You'll be part of a collaborative team that upholds the highest standards of aged care, with ongoing training and professional development to support your growth in the sector.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Clinical & Care Support:Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance while promoting independenceMeasure and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output as directedSupport medication management by reminding residents and assisting with medication administration under nurse supervisionAssist with basic wound care, applying dressings,
and reporting any changes to nursing staffTherapy & Rehabilitation Assistance:Implement prescribed therapy plans including gentle exercises and mobility supportAssist occupational therapists and physiotherapists during treatment sessionsSupport dementia care by implementing behaviour management strategiesDocumentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of care providedDocument changes in resident conditions, behaviours, or care needsComplete incident reports and risk assessments when requiredResident Wellbeing & Engagement:Provide emotional support through active listening and meaningful conversationEncourage resident participation in social activities and community programsAdvocate for resident rights and preferences in all care decisionsSafety & Compliance:Follow infection control protocols including proper hand hygiene and PPE useAssist with manual handling using correct equipment and techniquesReport maintenance issues, hazards, or near misses promptlyWhat They're Looking For:Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent1+ years of full time experience in aged care or disability supportNDIS Worker Screening Clearance (issued within last 5 years) is preferableCurrent flu vaccination & COVID-19 immunisationReliable transportCompassionate nature with strong communication skillsTeam player who thrives in collaborative environmentsWhy You'll Love Working here:Rewarding work that makes a real difference in residents' livesOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesSupportive team culture with regular staff recognitionModern facilities with quality resourcesCareer growth potential within our organization
