They design and manufacture next-generation secure embedded controllers that keep power, telecommunications, and energy systems connected and resilient.The RoleOn behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to take technical ownership of their core embedded platform.
Working across the entire software stack from bootloaders up to Linux services—you will lead board bring-up, shape product architecture, and build high-uptime systems for field deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Architecture: Design secure, maintainable embedded software using Yocto/OpenEmbedded, U-Boot, and OTA mechanisms like RAUC.Hardware & Stack Integration: Collaborate with hardware teams on board bring-up, peripheral configuration (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO), and device drivers.Protocol Implementation: Develop interfaces for industrial and IoT protocols, including Modbus, CAN bus,



SNMP, MQTT, and TCP/IP.Technical Leadership: Guide engineering standards, support CI/CD workflows, and mentor junior embedded engineers.What Our Client Is Looking ForEmbedded Linux: Strong expertise with Yocto, OpenEmbedded, U-Boot, and secure OTA update systems.Core Languages: Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and Python.Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Linux device model, device trees, and hardware interfaces.System Reliability: Experience engineering self-recovering, high-uptime systems deployed in remote environments.Exposure to RTOS, microcontrollers, or reading hardware schematics.Background in industrial control systems, IoT platforms, or energy/power systems.Why Consider This Role?
