ABOUT THE ROLEApex Radiology has a rare opportunity for an experienced Tutor Sonographer to join our team in Mandurah, WA on a full-time or part-time basis.
This rewarding leadership role is ideal for a passionate Sonographer who enjoys mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and helping shape the next generation of imaging professionals.
You will lead and coordinate our structured ultrasound training program, supporting Sonographers and Sonography students through hands-on supervision, in-house assessments, and clinical development.
Working closely with our IDX Ultrasound Training Program Manager, you will play a key role in building capability across the team while remaining connected to clinical practice across a variety of subspecialties.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver structured training programs for Sonographers and studentsProvide hands-on supervision, mentoring, and clinical coachingSupport competency assessments and learning milestonesFoster a positive learning culture across the ultrasound teamDrive quality improvement and best-practice standardsCollaborate with leaders to strengthen capability across the businessABOUT YOUGraduate Diploma in Medical Sonography (or equivalent) accredited by ASARMinimum 5+ years' experience as a qualified SonographerBroad clinical capability across General, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Breast, MSK and Vascular studiesProven ability to mentor, train and support developing SonographersStrong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleaguesPassion for education,
