They are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to support site safety, develop training processes, maintain documentation and ensure employees are appropriately trained and competent.The Health & Safety Coordinator will ideally have:Previous experience in a Health & Safety, Training, Process or Operations role within a manufacturing, factory, warehouse or industrial environmentRelevant qualifications in Health & Safety, Training, WHS or a related disciplineExperience developing and maintaining training matrices, procedures, SOPs and safety documentationStrong understanding of workplace processes and the ability to translate these into effective trainingExperience delivering or coordinating training for employees across a production or warehouse environmentStrong written English and excellent documentation skillsGood understanding of WHS legislation, policies and proceduresExcellent communication and people skills,



with the ability to engage employees at all levelsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training and compliance requirementsA proactive approach to workplace safety, training and continuous improvementThe Health & Safety Coordinator role will involve:Coordinating and delivering health, safety and operational training across the siteDeveloping and maintaining training matrices and competency recordsWriting and updating SOPs, safe work procedures and training documentationWorking closely with production and warehouse teams to understand processes and identify training requirementsSupporting the implementation of new processes, procedures and training systemsMonitoring employee training and ensuring required competencies are maintainedSupporting WHS compliance, audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiativesIdentifying training and safety gaps and implementing appropriate improvementsWorking with employees and supervisors to promote a robust safety cultureMaintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is kept up to date
