Key responsibilities include:Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometryProvide hearing rehabilitation advice and support, including hearing device orientation and counsellingCollaborate with ENT, medical, and allied health colleagues on complex casesMaintain accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards and contribute to departmental quality improvement activities.About you:Post or Undergraduate Graduate Qualification in Audiology or an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for Association membership with Audiology AustraliaWritten and oral communication skills which result in effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of peopleInterpersonal skills which foster the co-operation and support of othersAbility to work on an independent basis and achieve high level of self-motivation and initiativeAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary team and foster teamworkDemonstrated competence in audiological techniques appropriate to the patient population at FMC, with a willingness to work in the clinical area of cochlear implantation, vestibular and/or evoked potential assessmentExperience in cochlear implant assessment/mapping and or vestibular assessment is desirable but not essential.Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.Application Closing Date: ***** pm Tuesday 8th of September ****We also offer salary sacrifice benefits which provide the opportunity to save money by paying for some of your everyday expenses from your salary before it is taxed.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part time.
