The Opportunity
We are seeking two passionate and experienced Diploma-qualified educators to join our largest long day care and integrated kindergarten service in Keilor East, with one permanent full-time position and one temporary full-time position available until May ****.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a well-established early years' service that provides education and care for children from infancy through to kindergarten.
As part of a collaborative team, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging play-based experiences, responsive interactions and strong partnerships with families.
Working alongside Early Childhood Teachers and fellow educators, you will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of engaging, play-based learning programsBuild positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleaguesUse intentional teaching strategies to support children's learning, development and wellbeingContribute to curriculum planning, documentation,



assessment and reflective practiceProvide leadership and guidance within the learning environment and support best practice across the teamWork in accordance with the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworksFoster inclusive environments that promote children's sense of belonging, participation and confidenceSupport high-quality education and care practices across the service
About You
Diploma of Children's Services (or equivalent) recognised by the Department of EducationExperience working within long day care or early childhood education settingsStrong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and Child Safe StandardsAbility to build and maintain positive professional relationships with children, families and colleaguesDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively and support educator practiceStrong communication, organisational and reflective practice skillsPassion for inclusive, child-centred and culturally responsive education

Current Working with Children CheckFirst Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualificationsProtecting Children: Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector trainingNational Child Safety Training (Modules 1 and 2)
