Operating primarily 5–15 tonne excavators, you will play a key role in supporting site preparation, excavation works, and civil construction activities while working closely with site supervisors and ground crews.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate 5–15 tonne excavators safely and efficientlyCarry out bulk and detailed excavation worksAssist with trenching, backfilling,



and site preparationWork alongside ground crews and other plant operatorsComplete daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenanceAdhere to all site safety requirements and proceduresWhat You Will Need to SucceedExcavator ticketConstruction White CardMinimum 12 months' experience operating excavatorsExperience working on civil, commercial, or high-rise construction projectsStrong awareness of site safety and excavation practicesReliable transport and a robust work ethicWhat You Will Get in Return6-week contract with a reputable builder with potential for other opportunities with Hays$42-$45 per hour + travel and superOpportunity to work on a landmark Gold Coast high-rise development
