Casual Registered or Enrolled Nurse - TownsvilleTownsville GP Superclinic is looking for an additional casual nurse to join our friendly team and work collaboratively with the GPs, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide high-quality, integrated care for our patients.While experience is preferred, we valueattitude and cultural fitabove all else.
We are excited to provide comprehensive training and mentorship for a passionate current nurse ready to grow with our team.The Role: We offer a high-volume casual roster (3 to 4 shifts, approx. 22.5 to 37.5 hours/week).
We are looking for nurses who embrace flexibility across our operating hours:Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri:8:00 AM – 5:30PMThurs: 8:00 AM – 9:30PMSat & Sun: 9:00AM – 5:00PMKey Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Triage, emergency response, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry, and audiogramsAssisting GPs with surgical procedures, excisions, and wound managementInfection control, sterilisation, immunisations, and vaccinationsHealth assessments, chronic disease care plans,



and health coachingManaging eHealth, patient reminders, and treatment room coordination.Supporting Enrolled Nurses (applicable for Registered Nurse position)The successful applicant must have:Current AHPRA General Registration and Professional Indemnity InsuranceFull Australian working rightsGreat time management and multi-tasking abilityExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA solution-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal skillsAbility to follow policies and proceduresProven ability to work both autonomously and collaborativelyPrevious nursing experience in an Australian General Practice settingProficiency inBest Practiceor similar Medicare clinical softwareExperience or qualifications in immunisations, care plans, and health assessmentsRemuneration is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
