About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to join Brookies Rural Traders in Capalaba, QLD.
This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our nursery operations.
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our nursery business, including staff management, plant inventory, customer service, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the facility.
This role is pivotal to our success and growth within the retail and consumer products sector, particularly in the horticultural retail space.Key responsibilitiesManage and supervise nursery staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance managementOversee inventory management, including ordering plants, stock rotation, and maintaining optimal stock levelsEnsure all plants are properly maintained, watered, and displayed to maximise sales appeal and customer satisfactionDeliver exceptional customer service and manage customer relationships to build loyalty and encourage repeat businessMonitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targetsMaintain health and safety standards across the nursery facility, ensuring compliance with relevant regulationsDevelop and implement promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagementMaintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and financial transactionsLiaise with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality products and competitive pricingWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar horticultural retail management roleStrong knowledge of plants, horticulture,
