This is a Recruitment Poolfor Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time,Fixed Term Part Time appointment/s at various hours per fortnight,with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Thisrecruitment pool will be open for 6 months, and the followingshould be noted:

- The panel will monitorthis recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on aregular basis.
- Suitable applicants willbe placed in a pool from which appointments may be made whensimilar vacancies occur.
- Appointments may be madefrom this pool until 30/12/2026.

Position Profile:

The Clinical Midwifeis an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, providingclinical and professional expertise to deliver comprehensive,evidence-based midwifery care to patients. The role supports andpromotes patient safety and quality care outcomes, while practisingwithin scope in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's Midwifery Practice Decision-Making Framework.

Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) Clinical Midwife:

The MGP Clinical Midwife delivers clinical and professional expertise to providecomprehensive, evidence-based continuity of midwifery care acrossthe antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods within amultidisciplinary maternity team.



The role is responsible forcoordinating continuity of care and ensuring the delivery of safe,high-quality, woman-centred care.

Area Profile:

Armadale Health Service (AHS) is a generalhospital focused on providing a range of high quality health careservices in the community. The hospital, which is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group, is equipped with an Emergency Departmentand Intensive Care Unit and provides high-quality general medicaland surgery services, rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric andneonatal, mental health, renal medicine and dialysis services andambulatory care.

Kalamunda District Community Hospital (KDCH) is a specialist hospital and is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group. The hospital provides both day surgicalprocedures and a specialist inpatient palliative care service forpatients in the east metropolitan area.
