About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The Radiology Administration Officer is responsible for providing high-quality front-line administrative support to patients, referrers, and clinical staff by managing reception and front desk enquiries, greeting patients, answering telephone calls, coordinating appointments and imaging procedure bookings, maintaining accurate patient records, processing referrals, typing and formatting radiology reports, importing and managing external imaging studies and CDs within PACS/RIS systems, and ensuring patient information is entered correctly into systems.

The role requires close collaboration with internal and external referrers, radiologists, radiographers, nursing staff, medical specialists, and external healthcare providers to facilitate timely imaging services, resolve booking and referral issues, support workflow efficiency, communicate examination requirements,



and maintain a high standard of patient service while adhering to NSW Health privacy, confidentiality, and administrative procedures.

Ideal Candidate

Preferably someone with experience working within NSW Health hospital systems.

Motivated, able to demonstrate initiative in relation to known work procedures and work under minimal supervision.

Experience working in a similar support role in a health setting environment, including reception, bookings and telephone enquiries as an effective team member.
