Purchasing Officer

Perth CBD | $60/hr + Super | 6-Month Contract | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join a global mining company and become part of a small, friendly, and highly cooperative team.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate purchasing requirements, including raising and approving purchase orders
- Support operational teams with quotations, tendering, and supplier negotiations
- Analyse procurement and inventory data to identify improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Assist with supply chain optimisation projects, inventory management, and freight analysis

About You

- Experience in mining equipment procurement, maintenance, or operations
- Background in procurement, supply chain, warehousing, or inventory management




- Strong SAP skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
