- 10 beds on Paediatrics Ward 3 beds in Special Care Nursery The Mount Isa Special Care Nursery care for sick and preterm babies 32-weeks gestation and later. If a baby is younger than 32 weeks, or too sick to be cared for in Mount Isa, they will be transferred to Townsville University Hospital.
- Staffing levels:1 FTE x Director of Paediatrics, 2 FTE x Staff Specialist Paediatrician,2 FTE x Registrar (General Paediatrics Advanced Training pathway)
- Accommodation and Travel Provided

Locum Paediatrics Registrar/PHO required for an immediate start until late September 2026 at a Western Queensland hospital.

Roster: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, plus on-call shared 1 in 3.
