Based out of our Springwood head office, you will travel to various work sites across the greater Brisbane region and Queensland, delivering high-quality interior and exterior paintwork.

Reporting to the business owner, you will be responsible for transforming both commercial properties and luxury homes. You will execute meticulous surface preparation, apply premium finishes, and maintain the absolute tidiness our clients expect. Task & responsibilities Execute premium interior and exterior painting for high-end residential, commercial, new construction, and renovation projects across the Brisbane region. Perform meticulous surface preparation to ensure flawless finishes, including pressure washing, sanding (hand and power), scraping, patching plasterboard (gyprock/drywall), repairing damaged rendered surfaces, and applying gap fillers and stain blockers. Protect client properties during projects by carefully moving furniture, installing drop sheets, masking fixtures, and maintaining the strict cleanliness and tidiness standards NRG Painters is known for.

Apply a wide range of premium coatings (gloss, semi-gloss, satin, low sheen, matte, and textured) to ceilings, feature walls, woodwork, staircases, fences, decks, and cabinetry using expert brush, roller, and cutting-in techniques. Safely set up and operate commercial access equipment, including elevated work platforms (EWP/scissor lifts), extension ladders, trestles, and scaffolding, while strictly adhering to WHS requirements and PPE standards on all sites. Conduct comprehensive quality control inspections, correct imperfections, perform final touch-ups,



and ensure all workspaces are left immaculate prior to final client walk-throughs.

Qualification & experience AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, AQF Certificate IV in trade-related studies, or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in commercial and/or residential painting, with demonstrated capability in high-end finishes. General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or Working at Heights tickets (highly desirable).

Exceptional attention to detail, advanced surface preparation expertise, colour matching abilities, and safe material handling.
