Coolgardie Gold Rush Motels is seeking a talented Chef to join our agile kitchen team in Coolgardie, WA. This full-time position requires a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.

- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.

- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and food safety.

- Ordering stock, accepting deliveries and storing.

- Planning menu, estimating food and labour costs.

- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.

- Discussing food preparation issues with a managers, and kitchen/waiting staff.

- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.

- Assist in training junior kitchen staff.

- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

Requirements:

- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Management

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
