The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Façade Engineer to join their Façade Engineering Team. In this pivotal role, you will lead design teams, manage documentation, and deliver high-quality concept and detailed plans. You will take primary ownership of client relationships, manage project budgets, and mentor a talented team of graduate engineers and drafters.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Documentation: Prepare concept and detailed design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and fee submissions to prescribed standards.
- Project Delivery: Monitor project delivery to ensure items are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with Workplace Health & Safety Regulations.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary conduit for client communication, establishing strong relationships with clients, builders, contractors, and government bodies.
- Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance, informal training,



and positive mentoring to junior engineers and drafting staff.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will bring:

- A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the design and documentation of Façade Engineering projects.
- Proven project experience with Curtain Walls, Hebel Cladding, Masonry, and Waterproofing.
- Demonstrated experience compiling FP1.4 and Weatherproofing reports.
- Familiarity and competence with relevant Australian Standards and legislations within the building sector.
- Strong financial acumen regarding project cost control, critical review of design drawings, and high-level report writing.
