The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing project delivery team supporting mining and mineral processing operations across Western Australia.

This is a practical, hands-on engineering role working across major processing plant and fixed plant infrastructure projects. Unlike a traditional engineering consultancy position, the focus is on reviewing and validating engineering designs, supporting construction teams, and ensuring engineering solutions are practical, buildable and successful in the field.

The role combines office-based engineering support in Perth with site-based involvement during construction, commissioning, installation and project delivery phases. Key Responsibilities

- Review and assess engineering designs, drawings, calculations and vendor documentation
- Provide practical engineering support during construction, installation and commissioning activities
- Ensure engineering solutions are safe, practical and fit for purpose
- Support fixed plant installation, refurbishment and project delivery activities
- Assist with commissioning,



troubleshooting and operational readiness of plant equipment
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, engineering consultants and site personnel
- Support project execution across multiple mining and mineral processing operations
- Identify and resolve technical issues to maintain project schedules and project outcomes

Experience That Will Help You Succeed

You will ideally bring experience from mining, mineral processing, resources, or heavy industrial operations, with exposure to fixed plant equipment and project environments. Experience gained through plant construction, installation, commissioning, maintenance, refurbishment, or process plant upgrade projects will be highly regarded. Relevant experience include:

- Crushing, screening and grinding circuits, including crushers, ball mills and SAG mills
- Materials handling, conveying systems, gearboxes and drive systems
- Pumps, slurry systems, rotating equipment and associated fixed plant infrastructure
- Gold processing plants, copper and nickel concentrators, or iron ore processing facilities
- Fixed plant installation, refurbishment and brownfield upgrade projects
- Mechanical design, engineering reviews and technical problem solving
- Site-based construction support,



commissioning and troubleshooting activities

About You

- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering experience
- Strong mining, mineral processing, resources, or heavy industrial background
- Practical site-based engineering and project delivery experience
- Ability to read, interpret and review engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Confident English communication skills with the ability to engage directly with Australian site teams, contractors and clients
- Ability to work collaboratively across construction, operations and engineering teams
- Willingness to travel and work on Australian mine sites as required

- Perth-based role with regular site involvement
- Salary package of $120,000 - $140,000 plus superannuation
- Additional site allowances and Salary sacrifice options available
- Relocation assistance of up to $15,000 for eligible interstate candidates
