Celsius Air is looking for a motivated 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice to join our growing team.

Whether you are ready to begin your apprenticeship or looking for the right company to continue your training with, this is an opportunity to develop genuine, well-rounded experience across both air-conditioning service and installations.

You will work alongside qualified and experienced technicians who will teach you the technical skills, customer-service standards and professional habits required to become a capable, trusted tradesperson.

What You Will Learn

Working under the direction of qualified technicians, you will gain practical experience in:

- Residential and commercial air-conditioning servicing
- Preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Split-system and ducted air-conditioning installations
- Commercial air-conditioning systems
- Refrigerant handling and refrigeration fundamentals
- Electrical testing and safe isolation procedures
- Commissioning and system-performance testing
- Reading plans, technical information and manufacturer instructions
- Using tools, testing equipment and field-service technology
- Preparing clear job notes,



photographs and service documentation
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Workplace safety, compliance and quality assurance

Your responsibilities will increase as your skills and apprenticeship progress. You will receive practical feedback, structured development and exposure to different types of work—not be limited to performing the same basic tasks every day.

About You

We welcome applications from

- Current apprentices ready to commence their first year
- Existing first-year apprentices looking for the right long-term employer
- Second or third-year apprentices seeking broader experience or a better development opportunity

To be considered, you will need to:
- Be genuinely committed to completing a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Construction Industry White Card
- Be reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Listen to instructions and ask questions when unsure
- Take pride in the quality and presentation of your work
- Communicate respectfully with customers and team members
- Be comfortable working in roof spaces, on ladders and in outdoor conditions
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Take responsibility for your TAFE attendance and apprenticeship progress
- Be willing to learn from feedback and continually improve

Previous trade, construction, electrical or mechanical experience will be highly regarded but is not essential for the right first-year applicant.
