We are looking for an experienced ABG Digicon Machine Operator to join our finishing team at our Truganina facility.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating ABG Digicon Series 3 digital finishing equipment, producing high quality label and packaging products in a fast paced production environment.
Your day will include
- Setting up and operating ABG Digicon presses
- Laminating, foiling, varnishing, die cutting and embossing
- Completing quality checks and adjusting machine settings where required
- Carrying out routine maintenance, wash ups and basic troubleshooting
- Completing job tickets, production records and quality documentation
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally bring:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience operating ABG Digicon Series 3 or similar digital finishing equipment
- Strong knowledge of digital finishing processes and machine setup
- Confidence troubleshooting minor press and production issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality focus
- Ability to work safely in a hands on manufacturing environment
- Valuable communication skills and a team focused attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 25kg
