About State Sport Centres: The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) operates and maintains over $1 billion assets including four of Australia’s largest multi-sport venues, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), Lakeside Stadium incorporating the State Athletics Centre, and Knox Regional Sports Park including the State Basketball Centre (SBC). About the role: We're seeking a proactive, commercially focused Account Manager to join our Events and Bookings team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who excels at building strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving new and repeat business across SSCT venues.

A key focus of the role is managing and growing a pipeline of prospective and existing bookings, working closely with sports partners, event organisers and regular hirers to secure business, maximise venue utilisation, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Your primary responsibilities will include: Manage client accounts and booking pipelines

Develop quotes, booking plans, and event documentation





Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution

Support the design and pricing of major events

Maintain accurate records in Momentus

Provide on-the-ground support during events This is a 6 month contract and a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic, client-facing role within the Commercial team and contribute to the success of events at one of Melbourne’s premier sporting venues.
