You will work closely with clients and senior team members across a broad range of accounting and taxation matters.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
- Tax planning and advisory work
- Management of client relationships
- Preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations
- Assistance with business structuring and strategic advice
- Liaising directly with the ATO and other stakeholders
About you
- CPA or CA qualification (or be close to completion)
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a professional accounting practice
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
- Experience working with SMEs, family groups and private clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience with Xero and other cloud-based accounting software
- A proactive, client-focused approach
