About The Role Setsu Niseko is looking for an Accounting Officer / Supervisor to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting experience who enjoys working accurately, staying organised, and supporting smooth financial operations.

You will be involved in daily accounting tasks, billing, payments, revenue management, cash handling, month-end and year-end closing support, and audit preparation. You will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and our management team to help support both hotel operations and condominium ownership accounting.

Hours 8 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 9:00-18:00, 5 days a week (usually weekends off) Work schedule may be subject to change depending on peak seasons and hotel occupancy levels.

Setsu Niseko is looking for an Accounting Officer / Supervisor to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting experience who enjoys working accurately, staying organised, and supporting smooth financial operations. You will be involved in daily accounting tasks, billing, payments, revenue management, cash handling, month-end and year-end closing support, and audit preparation.

You will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and our management team to help support both hotel operations and condominium ownership accounting.

Main tasks

- Manage revenue, accounts, and payment collections
- Handle banking operations and payment processing
- Prepare and issue invoices and supporting documents
- Coordinate billing-related communication with other departments
- Manage petty cash and daily cash handling
- Enter accounting data into accounting software and management systems
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Support communication and reporting requests from the Hong Kong parent company

About You

- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Good accounting knowledge; Bookkeeping Level 2 or equivalent is preferred
- Experience in hotels, resorts, or seasonal operations is an advantage
- Strong Excel and general PC skills
- Comfortable reading and writing English and Japanese documents
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable in a energetic environment
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- A team player with good communication skills
- Valid working visa for Japan; visa sponsorship may be possible for the right candidate

Offer
- Monthly salary: ¥240,000 – ¥350,000 (plus annual discretionary bonus)
- Immediate start (negotiable)
