About Us

Australian Piling Group (APG) is a premier foundation and piling contractor operating across NSW, ACT, and SA. We deliver large-scale ground engineering solutions for major commercial, civil, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team at our Bella Vista / Norwest office.

This is a strictly onsite position based at our office. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. Candidates must be able to commute daily to be considered.

Position Summary

This is a hands-on role managing our end-to-end accounts payable and bookkeeping. You will act as the financial bridge between our corporate office, site project managers, and subcontractors to ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable: Process supplier and subcontractor invoices,



check compliance documents (Subcontractor’s Statements, insurance), and run fortnightly EFT payments.

Bookkeeping: Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations while maintaining the general ledger, assets and intercompany loan accounts with accurate cost coding.

Communication: Partner with suppliers and site supervisors to resolve invoice discrepancies and manage day-to-day accounts queries.

What We Are Looking For

Industry Experience: 4-5 years of accounts payable or similar experience. Experience within construction or manufacturing would be considered favourably.

Systems & Technology: High proficiency in Xero, ApprovalMax, and Lightyear.

Excel Skills: Ability to navigate spreadsheets using VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs.

Attributes: Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisation, and a commitment to meeting month-end deadlines.
