Role Description This part-time, in office Accredited Exercise Physiologist role is based in Elsternwick, VIC. The role involves conducting initial and follow-up assessments, developing and delivering individualized exercise programs, and monitoring client progress across a range of chronic conditions. Day-to-day tasks include supervising individual and group exercise sessions, educating clients on health and lifestyle modification, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

The Accredited Exercise

Physiologist will collaborate with other health professionals, contribute to care plans, and support a safe,



inclusive environment for all clients.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Exercise Physiology and general Physiology to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Competence in Exercise Prescription and Rehabilitation to design and progress individualized programs for diverse clinical populations.
- Experience or interest in Cardiac Rehabilitation to support clients with cardiovascular conditions through safe, structured exercise.
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist status with ESSA (or eligibility for accreditation).
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Exercise Physiology, Clinical Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, and familiarity with risk management and safety procedures in clinical exercise settings.
- Experience working with clients with chronic diseases, musculoskeletal issues, or mental health conditions is highly regarded.
