About the role

We're looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Officer. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering accurate accounts receivable and administrative services. Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage accounts receivable and debtor accounts.
- Resolve account enquiries with patients, insurers, Medicare, and stakeholders.
- Process billing, payments, refunds, and receipts.
- Maintain accurate billing, financial, and patient records.
- Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support audits, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with policies, privacy standards, and procedures.

About you

You are a customer-focused Accounts Receivable professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering accurate financial outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, debtor management, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with reconciliations, debt collection, and reporting.




- Understanding of privacy and compliance requirements.
- Australian working rights and a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
