The chance is presented to join a prominent sport and community service organisation at the senior level of Administration Manager.

The organisation is recognised as a WA icon of volunteerism through its focus on community service and in providing a platform for members’ personal and sporting development.

The board wishes to accelerate the club’s growth in tandem with enhancing the organisation’s member and community services.

The Administration Manager will report to the board and take overall responsibility for the club’s operations. The remit of the role is broad and will require a balance between commercial rigour, while addressing the expectations of a large membership, volunteer groups, local community and government.

Responsibilities encompass

· Member services resourcing and facilitation

· Finance and administration

· Relationships with sponsors

· Grant and funding negotiations

· Sponsorship growth

· Event management

· Public relations and publicity

· Hospitality facility management

· Building oversight and development

· Compliance (OH&S;, working with children, grant acquittal)





It is anticipated the Administration Manager will have a background of successful and stable leadership in either an NFP or commercial organisation.

Accompanying the leadership background will be a track record of external and internal relationship development which has resulted in positive outcomes.

Tertiary qualifications will be required and competency in operational and financial control, management, budgeting, cost and cash flow control and board reporting.

A Candidate’s history of involvement in clubs, NFPs, charitable groups or community organisations will be indicative of a cultural alignment with the club’s ethos, culture and approach.
