Administration/Operations Support - Port Kembla Depot

Booth Transport is a well-established transport and logistics company known for reliable service and a strong team culture. We're looking for an organised and proactive Administration/Operations Support person to join our team at our Port Kembla depot.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day administration and operations of a busy transport depot. You'll be the glue that keeps things running smoothly — liaising with drivers, customers, and the broader operations team while managing the administrative side of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide general administrative support to the depot and NSW operations team
- Assist with scheduling, dispatch support, and coordinating driver runs
- Data entry, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records
- Manage compliance paperwork, delivery dockets, and driver documentation
- Handle phone and email enquiries from customers and drivers
- Support day-to-day office operations, including filing, ordering supplies,



and reception duties
- Liaise with drivers and customers to resolve queries and keep jobs on track
- Assist management with reporting and ad hoc administrative tasks

About You

- Experience in transport, logistics, or freight administration is highly regarded
- Solid general administration/office experience will also be considered
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Robust communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner
- Well organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- A reliable team player who can also work autonomously
- Good attention to detail, particularly with compliance and documentation
