Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an AI Agent Engineer at Reclutamiento Secrets Tides Punta Cana. The AI Agent Engineer will design, build, and maintain AI-driven agents to support business processes, guest services, and internal operations. Typical tasks include developing and refining conversational flows, integrating AI agents with existing systems and APIs, monitoring performance metrics, and troubleshooting technical issues.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, testing new features, documenting solutions, and continuously improving agents based on user feedback and data insights. The AI Agent Engineer is expected to manage priorities effectively in a remote environment and adhere to secure, ethical practices when working with data.

Qualifications

- Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI agents or chatbots using modern frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages commonly used for AI integration (e.g., Python, JavaScript)



and API-based system integrations.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts, NLP, or large language models, with the ability to fine-tune or configure models for specific use cases.
- Solid skills in problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization for AI-driven applications.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user-friendly conversational flows.
- Comfort working in a remote, part-time setting with effective time management and clear communication practices.
- Attention to detail in documentation, version control, and testing of AI agents before deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in hospitality, customer service platforms, or CRM systems is a plus.
- Commitment to ethical AI, data privacy, and inclusive, non-discriminatory user interactions.
