Air Conditioning Apprentice – 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year

JM Air & Refrigeration | Burpengary, Brisbane Full-time | 38 hours per week | Immediate start

JM Air & Refrigeration is looking for a motivated Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our Brisbane team.

We work across both residential and commercial air conditioning throughout Brisbane, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to gain practical experience across a wide-ranging range of jobs.

We’re open to first, second and third-year apprentices, including school leavers, mature-age applicants and existing apprentices looking to transfer.

Who we’re looking for

For us, personality, attitude and common sense matter most. You don’t need to know everything—we’re looking for someone who is genuinely willing to learn, listens well and takes pride in doing a job properly.

The right person will be:

- Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Practical and able to use common sense
- Respectful when working in clients’ homes and businesses
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willing to listen, learn and take direction
- Able to communicate well with tradespeople, clients and other team members
- Interested in building a genuine, long-term career in the air conditioning industry

Previous experience in air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical work,



construction or another hands-on role would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential.

Requirements

Applicants must:
- Hold a current White Card or be willing to obtain one
- Be able to reliably attend work across a variety of work sites
- Be available to work full-time across a 38-hour week
- Have a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn

Pay will be discussed with shortlisted applicants and will depend on the successful applicant’s age, experience and apprenticeship year level.
