The Department: Centrally located Federal Government Department.

The Role:

This is an APS5 finance officer role that will run for an initial 6 months on a non-ongoing contract basis. You will be working in the financial accounting and operations team providing operational accounting support of the AP/AR, plus other operations duties.

They have a small team that provides cross-functional support in financial operations giving the team flexibility and cover for when people are away. They have a mature TechnologyOne system that has been optimised for their operations.

This role has the potential to be extended beyond the initial engagement – for another 6 months, making a total of 12 months.





Your Skills and Experience:

You are an experienced finance officer with experience from a Government environment at the APS4/5/6 level. This is a transactionally focused accounting role, you must be able to demonstrate your capability with AP/AR in a TechOne environment, as well as a willingness and drive to contribute to the team.

You must be an Australian Citizen with a baseline clearance.
