Specialising in bespoke high-end residential projects, such as alterations and additions, new homes and boutique multi-res developments, this leading design team is searching for a talented design-focused Architect / Experienced Grad with proven experience running their own projects to work on high-end single and boutique multi-residential projects. This candidate will be confident in their design abilities and be a team leader, inspiring junior team members. They will be working collaboratively as part of the team, running and designing projects from Concept through to Town Planning.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail with strong design skills and a solid understanding of Council and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Leading high-end residential designs from concept to design completion
- Client engagement to develop concept layouts
- Working collaboratively within the Design and Planning teams
- Ability to be a team leader to manage, direct and mentor the design team
- Strengthening and building on existing client relationships

Skills and experience

- ARBV Registration (preferably)
- 7 years + local architectural experience
- Min. 5 years experience in a design-focused role
- Established knowledge and experience with various Victorian Council Planning departments
- Exceptional knowledge of residential design
- Extensive knowledge of Rescode and town planning requirements




- Experience as a team leader / manager of a design team would be desirable but not essential
- Experience working directly with clients, other stakeholders and managing expectation
- Demonstrated eye for detail, design and presentation
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred
