With a healthy pipeline of work and a strong team culture, they are now seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead their team of Site Supervisors in Mackay and surrounding areas.
This role is ideally suited to either an experienced Area Manager, or a seasoned Site Supervisor ready to take the next step into multi-site leadership.
You'll be the go-to person for the on-site supervisors, ensuring quality homes are delivered on time, within budget, and to company standards. Your local network and relationships will be critical for sourcing quality, reliable trades in line with project pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Site Supervisors across multiple concurrent builds across 2-3 locations
- Oversee site progress, quality, budgets, and WHS compliance
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high standards and regulatory compliance
- Manage labour allocation, subcontractor recruitment, and material coordination
- Act as the key link between site teams and executive leadership.
- Chair regular supervisor meetings and maintain clear communication with internal departments
- Provide mentoring and guidance to supervisors to support team performance and cohesion
- Ensure smooth delivery of builds within targeted timeframes and budget controls
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record as an Area Manager, or as a Senior Site Supervisor with a high-volume residential builder
- Strong understanding of NCC, QBCC and WHS requirements
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Proven experience managing multiple projects or supervising across estates
- Ability to build and maintain solid trade and supplier networks
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in people development
