I Want It Yesterday is a Sydney-based creative studio working primarily across entertainment, sport and culture.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Art Director to work closely with our Creative Director and alongside our Head of Production to develop and execute the visual direction of projects, while helping define and evolve the I Want It Yesterday brand. This is a hands-on creative role. You'll help shape the visual world, then get in and make it happen - from camera and production through to editing and final delivery.

You'll be responsible for the stylistic execution of our work, ensuring everything we produce feels distinctive, current and true to the IWIY brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop visual concepts, moodboards, treatments and creative direction.
- Work alongside our Head of Production to execute projects from concept to delivery and help manage the production team.
- Operate Sony cameras confidently and take hands-on ownership of the visual execution across production, from camera and lighting through to directing shots on set.
- Maintain and manage studio and camera equipment, ensuring gear is shoot-ready at all times.
- Work closely with Videographers, Editors, Producers and Creative Directors to deliver content on brief and on time.
- Shape the visual identity and stylistic direction of I Want It Yesterday alongside the Creative

Director.

- Support day-to-day studio operations, including scheduling, bump-ins/bump-outs, and general studio upkeep.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of studio spaces, taking ownership of your assigned space for the day.




- Lead the visual execution of projects while remaining hands-on.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

- Based in Sydney, Australia.
- Australian resident or visa holder.
- No set years of experience required - we're more interested in your eye, instincts and ability to lead than your CV. On top of current content styles and trends, with a clear point of view on creative execution and brand.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual direction and hands-on execution, with an understanding of visual composition, cinematography, lighting, styling and storytelling.
- Experience shooting on Sony cameras preferred (e.g. FX/A7S/A6 series). Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with the broader Adobe Suite highly regarded.
- Exposure to studio lighting and audio setup (or a strong willingness to learn). Comfortable working across a mix of project-based shoots and structured studio sessions.
