Talent Butler is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded property advisory group to appoint an experienced Asset Manager based in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on role with genuine exposure across asset management, leasing strategy and property development.

This position would suit a commercially minded professional who enjoys being close to the detail, contributing to strategy, and seeing projects through from inception to completion.

The Opportunity

Working as part of team of around 20+ people in their North Sydney office, you'll report to the Managing Director. You will take responsibility for the performance, optimisation and strategic direction of a portfolio of assets. The role offers meaningful autonomy, strong stakeholder exposure, and collaboration with the office and client teams.

You will be involved across the full asset lifecycle, from financial analysis and investor reporting through to leasing strategy, capital works and development feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management

- Formulate and implement asset strategies to maximise asset and portfolio performance
- Direct, hands-on Property and Asset Management duties
- Prepare, manage and monitor annual budgets, reforecasting and cashflow
- Deliver monthly asset reports and quarterly investor reporting
- Benchmark asset performance through financial, operational and market analysis
- Work closely with marketing and leasing teams on leasing strategy, campaigns and income initiatives




- Negotiate leases with existing and prospective tenants
- Oversee service providers and consultants to ensure performance, compliance and value
- Participate in capital expenditure planning, tracking and approvals
- Attend site meetings across leasing, projects and asset initiatives
- Mentor and support junior team members

Development Exposure

- Support preparation of development briefs and approval submissions
- Assist in negotiating and administering agreements for lease and leases
- Assist with financial management and CAPEX delivery

About You

You will be a high-calibre professional with strong commercial instincts and a genuine interest in asset performance as well as be prepared to deal with day-to-day property management duties.

Key requirements include:

- Bachelor's degree prefereable but not essential
- Robust commercial accumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the Sydney commercial property market
- Demonstrated employment stability (minimum 2 years+ with employer/s)
- Proven experience seeing projects through from inception to completion
- Hands-on, proactive and execution-focused
- Positive attitude, strong initiative and a track record of delivery
