About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Development Manager to support the delivery of two significant precinct-scale, high-density mixed-use urban developments currently progressing through planning, design and procurement.
Working closely with Senior Development Managers and the broader project team, you will contribute to key development decisions and help drive the planning, design and procurement of complex urban developments. You will work with multidisciplinary consultant teams and engage with contractors, authorities and funding partners to help progress projects through critical stages of delivery.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to significant projects while being supported by an experienced development team. The successful candidate will gain experience across a broad range of development disciplines and build a strong understanding of project delivery, stakeholder management and development decision-making.
About You
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual with 1-5 years' experience in property development or a related discipline.
You may come from a background in property development, project management, construction, design, engineering, planning or similar.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks and outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An understanding of design, planning and delivery of development projects
- The ability to build effective relationships with consultants, contractors, authorities and project stakeholders
- High attention to detail, with the ability to think both strategically and practically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
