About the roleDragon Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Property Manager to join our industry leading team in managing our growing residential book. Our firm has earned an award-winning reputation for excellence in property services, with a strong focus on the Chinese market based in the heart of Haymarket.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to progress your career in a friendly and supportive environment, with ongoing training, allowances and supports to be provided by us. Career progression and earning potential will be based on your individual performance, with potential to earn additional commissions and future promotions. What you'll bring

1. Skilled fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, with Australian citizenship or permanent residency status
2. Previous experience in Residential Property Management or a similar field is preferred
3. A current driver’s license and your own vehicle is preferred – car parking and petrol allowance will be provided by the company
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills – we value honesty, politeness and confidence
5. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills,



keen attention to detail and the ability to think effectively on your feet
6. Importantly, a positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude

What you'll do

1. Effectively manage a portfolio of residential properties, including advertising, leasing, tenant management, property inspections, and coordinating maintenance and repairs
2. Proactively communicate with tenants, landlords and other parties to provide high-quality, solution-focused care
3. Maintain accurate accounting records and property documentation, including reconciling rent records and processing bills and invoices
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the property management team
