The Opportunity

This is a genuine management opportunity for someone who enjoys making a difference, working collaboratively and helping others grow. Working alongside the Store Manager, you will help create an environment where the team feels supported, understands what success looks like and takes pride in achieving shared customer and store goals. You will lead from the floor, build confidence through encouragement and constructive feedback, and give people the clarity and trust to take ownership of their contribution. The role combines people development, outstanding customer service and practical store leadership.

What You Will Do

- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing the team
- Turn store goals and performance measures into clear, achievable daily priorities
- Encourage strong performance through regular communication, feedback and recognition
- Lead by example in delivering thoughtful, high-quality customer experiences
- Support daily operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, stock and store presentation




- Help maintain an organised, safe and welcoming environment where agreed standards are consistently followed

What You Will Bring

- Experience leading, coaching or developing people in retail or another customer-focused setting
- A natural ability to encourage others and adapt your approach to different personalities
- Confidence using sales targets and performance measures to create focus and track progress
- Strong communication, sound judgement and a genuine desire to help others succeed
- The ability to build rapport with customers of different ages and backgrounds
- Reliability, organisation and availability to work one weekend day each week and public holidays as required
- Retail leadership and store-operations experience will be highly regarded, but attitude, values and the ability to bring out the best in others are equally important
