If required, we'll provide the mentoring and support needed to complete your Professional Year, helping you progress towards becoming a fully qualified Financial Adviser. Over the next two to three years, you'll have the opportunity to transition into managing your own portfolio of clients, developing long-term relationships and delivering strategic financial advice with the support of our experienced team.
About the Role In this role, you will:
- Support our adviser in the preparation and delivery of high-quality financial advice.
- Prepare compliant and technically accurate Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs) and technical strategy papers.
- Conduct financial modelling, research and strategy analysis to support client outcomes.
- Ensure advice documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Train, mentor and provide technical support to our junior paraplanner.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across advice and business processes.
- Progress towards managing and servicing your own client relationships within a two to three-year development pathway.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial planning Associate Adviser, Paraplanner or similar advice support role.
- Strong proficiency with Xplan and CRM systems.
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and practical way.
- Robust attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality work.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.
- A genuine desire to develop into a client-facing Financial Adviser.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a small, close-knit team where your contribution is genuinely valued.
- Clear career progression to become a client-facing adviser, with the opportunity to build and manage your own client portfolio within two to three years.
- Opportunity to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Diverse and engaging work with opportunities to grow your technical and advisory skills.
- Supportive leadership and a collaborative workplace culture.
- Full-time permanent position with ongoing professional development and career growth.
If you're an experienced Associate Adviser/Paraplanner looking for a role that combines technical excellence, innovation and a clear pathway into advising clients, we'd love to hear from you.
