About you

We are looking for an Associate with 2 – 5 years post-admission experience to join our highly regarded Construction team based in Sydney.

To be successful and thrive in this role you will have the following skills

- You will have 2 -5 years PQE with experience across either front or back-end construction matters, ideally with an interest in both.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to be curious about the industries and markets within which our clients operate and develop knowledge quickly
- Demonstrated skillset to manage timeframes and proactively manage priorities as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced working environment

Your role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join Gadens' highly regarded Construction group, supporting our Partner Matt Taylor. The team has a strong client base and a solid pipeline of front and back-end work, including construction, development and infrastructure. The role will see you preparing and negotiating all types of agreements, contracts and documents for building and engineering projects, as well as dispute resolution of all types in courts, arbitration and relevant tribunals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both autonomously and collaboratively with Partners and other senior members of the team. You will have considerable client contact and mentor junior lawyers, such as Graduates,
