Associate – Real Estate Investments
Redpath Partners are partnering with a global, top-tier real estate investment manager to appoint an Associate into their Australian real estate equity team. This institutional platform is well capitalised and highly active across the capital stack and risk spectrum, deploying long-term global capital into Australia across core/core-plus, value-add and opportunistic strategies.
The Prospect
As an Associate, you will play a hands-on role in sourcing, underwriting and executing investments across Australian real estate, with a particular focus on structured acquisitions, corporate-level M&A; and capital raising initiatives. The role offers genuine responsibility across complex transactions and regular exposure to senior investment leaders locally and across APAC.
Deal Exposure The role will be involved in transactions including:
- Structured equity acquisitions and joint ventures
- Corporate-level M&A;, recapitalisations and platform investments
- Capital raising and co-investment initiatives
- Direct equity acquisitions across major Australian real estate sectors
- Portfolio transactions and asset dispositions
- Financing and capital structuring alongside debt providers
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, screen and progress new investment opportunities
- Lead underwriting, financial modelling and investment analysis
- Drive transaction execution and diligence through to close
- Prepare investment committee and investor materials
- Build relationships with operators, developers, advisors and financiers
- Contribute to mentoring junior team members and team culture
About You
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in real estate investing, private equity, investment banking or a related field
- Strong understanding of Australian real estate markets and investment structures
- Proven execution capability across complex transactions
- Advanced financial modelling and commercial judgement
