About the Role

Working within site maintenance teams, you’ll provide electrical maintenance and breakdown support across heavy mobile mining equipment, with a strong focus on large excavators/diggers and production drill fleets.

Your duties will include

- Electrical diagnostics, fault finding and rectification
- Breakdown troubleshooting and repairs
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Electrical system testing and component replacement
- Harness, wiring, sensor and electrical component repairs
- Starting, charging and battery system diagnostics
- Air-conditioning fault finding, servicing and repairs




- Working with OEM diagnostic systems, schematics and technical documentation
- Supporting equipment reliability and minimising machine downtime

What You'll Need

- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
- Heavy mobile mining equipment experience
- Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Experience working across diggers/excavators and/or drill fleets
- Ability to work safely within an active mining setting
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
