About the role

Complete Windscreens SA pty ltd is seeking an experienced Autoglass Technician to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This is a full time position based at our Adelaide SA 5000 location. As an Autoglass Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality windscreen and glass installation, repair, and replacement services to our valued customers.

This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer safety and satisfaction across all automotive glass services.

What you'll be doing

- Installing, repairing and replacing windscreens, side windows, rear windows and sunroofs on various vehicle types
- Preparing vehicle frames and openings for glass installation, ensuring proper fit and alignment
- Using specialised tools and equipment to remove damaged or old glass safely and efficiently
- Applying adhesives, sealants and trim materials to secure glass components securely
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service, explaining work procedures and addressing customer questions
- Maintaining accurate records of jobs completed, materials used and time spent on each vehicle
- Keeping the work area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards
- Following manufacturer specifications and industry best practices for all glass installation work

What we're looking for

- A formal qualification or apprenticeship in automotive glass fitting or a related automotive trade




- Proven experience as an autoglass technician or in a similar automotive glass repair and installation role
- Strong knowledge of various vehicle types, window mechanisms and glass types
- Competency in using specialised tools and equipment for glass cutting, fitting and sealing
- Understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations within the automotive glass industry
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Physical capability to perform demanding manual work, including lifting and working at heights
- A valid driving licence and reliable transportation to travel between job sites
- Problem-solving ability and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
- Preferably, experience with mobile glass fitting services or roadside assistance
