What You'll Be Doing
As our AMS Technical Support Technician, you'll be the technical expert behind the successful installation, optimization and support of our automated farming solutions.
Your day could include:
- Installing and commissioning Automated Milking Systems (AMS)
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and control system faults
- Supporting robotic and automated dairy technologies
- Using data, instrumentation and technical tools to troubleshoot complex issues
- Providing on-site support to dairy farmers across Australia
- Training and mentoring dealer technicians and customers
- Supporting upgrades, technology rollouts and new product introductions
- Providing technical support as part of an after-hours support roster
- Identifying opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and customer outcomes.
Who We're Looking For You don't need to come directly from the dairy industry. If you've worked with automation, robotics, industrial systems, field service or complex equipment, we'd love to hear from you.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Technical Background
- Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Agricultural Engineering (preferred)
- Relevant apprenticeship or industry certifications
- Experience in field service, installations, maintenance or commissioning
- Strong understanding of
- Electrical systems
- Sensors and control systems
- Mechanical equipment and maintenance
- Automation and troubleshooting principles.
Experience We Value
- Automated, robotic or process-driven environments
- Agricultural or dairy industry exposure (essential)
- Industrial automation, manufacturing, food processing or machinery service industries
- Customer-facing technical support roles.
