Glory EV Group Pty Ltd is an automotive dealership group operating across multiple locations in Victoria. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our finance team to support our dealership operations. We offer a fast-paced and collaborative working environment where Finance works closely with Sales, Vehicle Operations, Management and other departments across the business.

About the role

This is a hands-on accounting position with a strong focus on end-to-end accounting, vehicle inventory management and financial reconciliation. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day accounting processes and work closely with our Financial Manager to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial and vehicle inventory records. You will be expected to work independently, investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, manage key month-end processes, and provide accounting coverage to ensure the finance function continues to operate effectively during the Financial Manager's absence.

This position would suit an experienced accountant who is comfortable working across both financial accounting and operational aspects of a growing automotive business.

Key responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Manage and support month-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review general ledger accounts and investigate unusual transactions or discrepancies.
- Maintain and reconcile vehicle inventory records, including vehicle purchases, costs, inventory movements,



transfers and sales.
- Ensure vehicle stock records are accurately reflected across accounting and internal dealership management systems.
- Reconcile vehicle inventory accounts and investigate differences between financial records, dealership systems and physical/operational records.
- Process, monitor and reconcile manufacturer incentives, rebates, bonuses and other related adjustments.
- Review manufacturer policies, program updates and supporting documentation to ensure transactions and incentives are accounted for correctly.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and provide supporting information for management reporting.
- Work closely with Sales, Vehicle Operations, Management and other internal departments to resolve accounting and operational issues.

About you

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid experience in general accounting, month-end processes and reconciliations.
- Experience in inventory accounting or stock reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software, with solid Excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Mandarin language skills are preferred but not essential.
- Automotive or dealership experience is highly regarded but not essential.
