About the Role
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Parts Interpreter to join our team. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting customers with parts inquiries – in person, via phone, and email
- Upselling and being confident in making sales
- Interpreting parts and components with accuracy
- Providing expert technical support and advice
- Processing quotes, sales orders, invoices, and payments
- Managing stock control and purchase orders
- Responsible for inventory control
- Building strong relationships with customers and our national QTK branches in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth
This is a full-time, permanent position (38 hours per week) reporting to the Group Parts Manager. You’ll be joining a friendly team that’s dedicated to supporting you every step of the way!
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who is customer-focused, confident in sales conversations, and ready to identify opportunities to support customers with the right parts solutions. Ideally, you are:
- Experienced – Previous Parts Interpreter experience preferred
- Mechanically minded – If you love working with parts and have robust computer skills, this role is for you!
- Customer-focused – Building relationships and delivering top-notch service comes naturally to you
- Sales-minded – You’re confident identifying opportunities to upsell parts, promote add-on products, and support customers with solutions that meet their needs
- Organised – You can manage competing priorities, stay on top of orders and inventory, and keep the parts process running smoothly
- Detail-Oriented – You can juggle multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure
- A Team Player – You thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment
- A Strong Communicator – You can explain technical details clearly, both to experts and non-experts
