About The Role We are looking for an experienced B1.3 Licensed Maintenance Engineer to join our team at HeliTSA as a Helicopter Maintenance Type Training Instructor. You'll deliver theoretical and practical type training on Bell, Leonardo and Airbus helicopters to engineers from Australia and around the world.

The position is predominantly based in Brisbane, Australia, with some travel required to deliver courses at other locations across Australia and internationally. Between courses and training development, instructors remain actively involved in helicopter maintenance activities, helping to maintain their practical skills and hands-on experience. You will start alongside experienced instructors, co-developing and shadowing courses before running your own.

Key Responsibilities





- Deliver theoretical and practical helicopter type training
- Develop and maintain training course material
- Carry out helicopter maintenance activities to maintain practical skills
- Assist with facility and equipment maintenance

Essential Requirements

- Current CASA or EASA B1.3 Licence
- Maintenance experience on Bell, Leonardo and/or Airbus helicopters
- Solid communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competent basic computer skills

Desirable Experience with one or more of the following helicopter types is highly regarded: Bell 412, Leonardo AW139, Airbus EC135, Airbus H145, Airbus H160, Airbus H175.
