Back of House / Kitchen Team Member/Donut decorator

(This role would be best suited to someone with commercial kitchen experience, preferably making donuts and/or baked goods)

Position Title: Back of House / Kitchen Team Member

Reporting To: Store Manager / Supervisor/ Franchise Partner

Primary Purpose of the Role:

The Back of House (BOH) Team Member is responsible for the preparation, production, and presentation of Brooklyn Donuts food items, including the baking, decorating, and finishing of donuts. This role requires a commitment to food safety, hygiene, efficient kitchen operations, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare, cook, and decorate donuts and other food products according to Brooklyn

Donuts recipes and standards.

● Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation of all products.

● Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organised kitchen and work environment in line with food safety regulations.

● Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including equipment, utensils,



and storage areas.

● Monitor and manage kitchen stock, including rotation, usage, and waste minimisation.

● Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper food handling procedures.

● Communicate effectively with the front of house team to support smooth service.

● Follow health and safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents promptly.

● Plus, other ad hoc duties across the venue, which may involve duties from other sections of the business, which may be required from time to time to ensure the venue runs efficiently and effectively.

*The pay rate is based on full adult rate and will be adjusted as per award based on age for under 21-year-olds.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $34.76 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 38.0 per week
