We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic barista and/or all-Rounder to join our team at The Nook on Hopkins. This is a casual position with a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the potential for a permanent role for the right person.

About the Role

As a barista and all-rounder, you'll be responsible for making great coffee, serving customers with a smile, and helping keep the café running smoothly. You’ll be part of a small, hands-on team where everyone pitches in. Our café has an open service area, so being tidy, clean and hygienic at all times is a must.

What we are looking for

· Previous barista or café experience is preferred, but we're happy to train someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.

· Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.





· A genuine interest in coffee, food, and hospitality.

· A commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.

· Must be available to work at least one day on the weekend.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare high-quality coffee and drinks consistently.

· Take orders, serve customers, and handle payments.

· Assist with basic food preparation and general cleaning.

· Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front-of-house area.

· Support kitchen staff and fellow team members as needed.

· Ensure excellent customer experiences from start to finish.
