BAR STAFF JOB OPENING

We are currently looking for an experienced Bar Staff Member to join our busy restaurant team at Ariala Springwood.

This role is suited to someone who is confident working behind a bar, can keep up in a fast-paced setting, and is also happy to assist across the restaurant when the bar is quieter.

Previous bar experience is essential. Applicants must already be comfortable with general bar service, handling drink orders and working efficiently during busy periods.

Main Duties

- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Taking drink orders and processing payments
- Keeping the bar clean, stocked and organised
- Following RSA requirements at all times
- Checking customer ID when required
- Assisting with customer check-in and check-out
- Answering general customer and booking questions
- Helping waiters with drinks, clearing, resetting tables and general floor duties when the bar is quiet
- Assisting wherever needed to keep service running smoothly
- Completing bar cleaning and closing duties

Pay: $37.00 – $45.02 per hour

- Are you comfortable checking customer ID and following RSA requirements, including refusing service when required?
- This is not a bar-only position. When the bar is quiet, you will be required to help with customer check-in/check-out, drinks, clearing tables, resetting tables and assisting waiters. Are you happy to do this?
- What days and times are you regularly available to work?

- Are you comfortable working in a very busy, fast-paced restaurant environment?
- Our shifts do not always have a set finish time and may finish later depending on how busy the restaurant is. Are you comfortable with this?
- Do you have reliable transport to and from work, including later at night?
- Are you currently working or studying elsewhere? If yes, please provide your regular commitments.
